The Legacy and Vision

Our vision is addressing the critical shortage in the number of students who have an interest in STEM Careers. Legacy Bridges STEM Academy, Inc. pre-college programs provide unique STEM engagement opportunities for building a pre-college to college STEM pipeline for underrepresented and underserved students, and Department of Defense Youth Serving Organizations Civil Air Patrol and JROTC Cadets. 

 

Legacy Bridges is a member of the NASA Science Mission Science Activation (SciAct), NASA Goddard Space Flight Centers Broadening Participation Committee, NASA Areokats and Rover Education Network (AREN), and is a NASA ASTRO CAMP Community Partner (ACCP). Since the inception of SciAct in 2016, the SciAct program has adopted a collective-impact, network-of-networks approach.


Our strategy focuses on workforce readiness for pre-college students who are underserved in STEM globally. We maintain strong partnerships with organizations and institutions focused on engineering and technology-based experiences designed to excite, engage, and educate students from middle school through college and university.
